The week was fabulous!!! Duska and his horses and team were all great. I’d say we really got our money’s worth. The hospitality was great! All a lot of fun. I tried to spread the word about the trip and Active Riding to people I met on the plane coming back. I will let my horse friends know about this trip as well as the other trips you offer. Thank you so much for your support. Make sure that Duska hears how much “Liz” who rode Gionic loved the trip. All the best.

Unreal. Just phenomenal.

I had an unfortunate start when arriving in Rome, as my luggage was delayed and then lost, but Stacey jumped right in and helped me through my options. I was able to get it in time, and make it to Tuscany, where the group waited for me on the first night. From then on was pure bliss.

Duska and his brother Luan are so kind and friendly, as well highly organized, and attentive. The accommodations were incredible, as it felt like we got to stay places where typical tourists really don’t get to see or stay. The riding was incredible with such great terrain and scenery. The horses are highly athletic and very well trained. I loved my horse Ombra! I had zero issues the entire time. (All of mine happened with my luggage at the start).

Our group riding with Duska was just three of us, so it was quite a luxury. It must be a very different experience with a larger group.

I’m already looking to book my next one!

I have been following Active Riding for years , and finally booked my first trip. I am hooked! This experience in Tuscany was amazing! The horses were loved and well cared for, the riding was beautiful, and the food and lodging was top notch. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Duska. He takes absolutely wonderful care of his horses, and provided an outstanding trip, with not one issue.

We would love to go back!

First, Duska was a great guide, putting up with the shenanigans I pulled! Secondly, the ride itself was amazing. I feel it is fair to forewarn anyone taking it that it averages 6 to 7 hours a day in the saddle. So, come prepared for that!

The food was really wonderful and the horses were perfect for this type of a ride. Our accommodations were lovely for the most part and one even featured a swimming pool that he would fill in the evenings with thermal heated water. Such a great trip, memories for a lifetime!

I had a wonderful time. Duska and his team were amazing. The scenery, horses, accommodations and food were spectacular.

If you are considering this trip please read the description. You need to be able to ride at least 6 hrs per day. You need to be able to trot and canter for long stretches. I would suggest that you consider bringing a seat saver for the saddles.

Great ride, beautiful country, good horses, super guide, nice accommodations, good food, excellent attention from Stacey.

It was a great experience that I will never forget.

The places we stayed at were great. Very rural and rustic but very comfortable. Our days were long but finishing the day with a great meal and wine made it worth it. The small villages we stayed at were very interesting.

Everyone was nice and went above my exceptions. Staying at the castle was wonderful. Our guide was very nice and helpful. The ranch hands were so funny and took great care of the horses and us every day.

Another trip checked off my bucket list. Tuscany was breathtakingly beautiful. Physically challenging and delicious which made me feel alive.
