Portugal Relaxed Dressage Training and Trail

This farm is a family-owned estate (and true gem!) just 45 minutes north of Lisbon. The property combines rural tourism with fruit and wine production, alongside a strong focus on Lusitano horses and the art of dressage.  Can you imagine – what’s better than riding wonderful horses surrounded by your own vineyard???

The equestrian centre has been thoughtfully designed, from its light-filled, spacious stables to the elegant tack room. Facilities include a 20 x 40m indoor arena with mirrors, a 20 x 60m covered outdoor arena, a working equitation paddock, lunge pen, and wash stalls.

The horses are impeccably prepared for every session — flowing manes and tails carefully brushed, hooves dressed, and brushing boots fitted. Regular turnout in the paddocks ensures they remain fit, content, and well balanced.

Instruction is delivered by experienced riders and trainers, providing the expertise needed to help you refine and elevate your dressage skills.

Guests are equally well looked after. The inviting riders’ lounge offers a comfortable space to unwind, while the indoor arena’s viewing gallery — complete with sliding windows — allows you to stay immersed in the action even when you are not in the saddle.

After your lesson, enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace or, in cooler months, relax by the fire with a warming coffee.
